MDF (medium density fibreboard) is a product made up from and consisting
of wood, resin and wax.

 
Exposure to dust may cause irritation to eyes, the respiratory system and skin.

Safe work practices should always be followed and the product handled with  in particular and without limiting the generality of the safe work practices.

• Dust masks should be worn 

• Long sleeved shirts, pants and gloves should be worn skin irritations
  

• Work storage areas should be well ventilated and regularly 

• Dust should be removed by either vacuuming  swooping methods
  

• COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEMS TO SHOULD BE PROHIBITED
  

• All machinery, including sawing, sanding should be fitted with efficient and reliable extraction systems
  

• Hand tools should be fitted with dust collection bags
